Maximum data rate is 1 Gigabytes per second (Gbps) up to 100 meters
Cat6 - Home/Office/Data Center. Less Cross talk than Cat5e.
Maximum data rate is 1 Gbps at up to 100 meters and 10 Gbps at up to 37 meters.
Cat6a - Home/Office/Data Center.
Maximum data rate is 10 Gbps up to 100 meters.
Cat7 - Office/Data Centers. More shielded than Cat6a, to eliminate cross talk
Maximum data rate is 10 Gbps up to 100 meters.
Cat8 Data Centers
Maximum data rate of 25/40 Gbps up to 30 Meters.
568A and 568B are the color codes only, they are the same pin-out.
